Sakaiminato City

Sakaiminato City is known as the ‘City of Fish and Kitaro’. In addition to the famous Mizuki Shigeru Road, there are many other attractive spots in the city, such as the Eshima Bridge (a.k.a. ‘Beta Treading Slope’), which looks so steep that its walls are sloping, and fresh and abundant seafood, including crab and tuna! The Yumeminato Tower in Yumeminato Park has an observation deck 43 metres above ground with a 360° view of the Sea of Japan and is certified as the lowest tower in Japan.
