Anime & Manga SPOT SUMMIT’ was held on 8 November 2024 (Friday) in the multi-purpose hall of Toshima Kumin Centre, located in Toshima Ward, Tokyo.
Led by the organising organisation Anime Tourism Association and Toshima Ward, the participating local authorities wished for overseas visitors to be able to comfortably tour Japan through lectures and panel discussions, shared the challenges faced by overseas visitors regarding food, transport and communication, and discussed further inbound developments. The event was held at the same time.

As a result of these discussions, the Anime Tourism Association of Japan (ATAJ) declared that it will work to ensure that fans visiting Japan from other countries can experience the attractions of Japan’s regions with as little inconvenience as possible in terms of the excellent exhibits and appearance of the facilities in each region, and the local authorities agreed to cooperate with the ATAJ in this endeavour. The local authorities agreed to cooperate with the Anime Tourism Association in this endeavour.
